Dr. Zemin Zhang is a Professor of Peking University and the Director of BIOPIC (Biomedical Pioneering Innovation Center). He obtained his BS from Nankai University, PhD from Penn State University, postdoctoral trainings at UCSF, and spent >16 years at Genentech/Roche prior to joining Peking University. His lab focuses on understanding the detailed characteristics of the tumor microenvironment, in particular the interplay between immune and cancer cells using adanced genomics technologies, with the goal to identify new therapeutic strategies via modulating the tumor microenvironment. He is a CUSBEA Scholar, a Cheung Kong Scholar, and a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
